Welcome to Marquette's Mpowered™ U Program!
The Mpowered™ U program at Marquette was created to place an emphasis on financial literacy with youth in the Erie and Crawford communities. This program is going to reward children and young adults for educating themselves on topics ranging from budgeting, to fraud, and internet security. Account holders can earn up to $100 for completing courses through BanZai and/or in person at Marquette's Mpowered™ Learning Sessions at our Innovation Learning Center.
The Mpowered™ U program demonstrates the value Marquette places on investing in the future of the youth in our community.

How does the program work?
There are two accounts that you can open up at any Marquette Savings Branch in-person to participate in the account.
- Mpowered™ U Checking - This account will have varying benefits depending on the account holder's age, such as lowered debit card limits for ages 13-17, waiver of paying a BaZing monthly fee once the account holder reaches age 16, the first order of checks are free, and there will be no opening balance requirement. All earnings from the account holders completed courses will be directly deposited into this checking account.
- Mpowered™ U Savings - This account will be used for overdraft protection for the checking account and requires a low opening deposit of $25.
