Health Savings Accounts (HSA)

Marquette Savings Bank is pleased to offer Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) to its customers. HSAs are designed to help individuals save for future qualified medical and retiree health expenses on a tax-free basis. It's a savings account into which you can deposit money on a tax-deferred basis. As the owner of the account, you have control of the account which will follow you regardless of your employer.

Why open an HSA at Marquette? Here are three important reasons:

  • All contributions you make to your HSA are tax-deductible regardless of your income level or whether you itemize deductions.
  • Your earnings are 100% tax-free while they are in your HSA.
  • The money you take out to pay for qualified medical expenses is completely tax-free. If you are interested in learning more about HSAs and how you can save now for future qualified medical and retiree health expenses, stop in any Marquette Savings Bank office.
